Review by AppleInsider

My favorite thing though is because it's removing that pressure from your face. You don't have to use the light shield. With the light Shield removed you can see a little bit about what's going on around you which I find super helpful.

FEATURING

A Story with Emily Olman

Emily Olman, CEO of Hopscotch Interactive, was reported by the New York Post that she suffered two “superdark black eyes” after wearing the Vision Pro for the first time.

Upon learning of her issue, our product team promptly reached out to Emily and mailed her a sample unit. Let's hear what's her experience and feedback after using this comfort head strap.

Opinion from Ben Geskin

Born from Community

ANNAPRO was born from the community and will continue to thrive with the community. We came together from all corners of the world with a single purpose: to build something that improves our daily lives, even in small ways.

What They Say

This is really something I think Apple should have shipped the Vision Pro with, it certainly allows for more flexibility and a solution for folks who just don't like that pressure on your face.

@BrianFrey1

I can immediately tell I think I'm going to like this, being able to use the stock strap and this forehead mount here to allow this to float right in my vision, this feels really nice.

@himelstech

I actually feel a HUGE improvement, I would say if you wear it without the light shield and you're able to adjust it, it takes almost all of the weight off, maybe 80%.

@HopscotchInteractive

As primeiras impressões são boas, e é como eu falei: o produto mais formatado que eu já viser lançado aqui para resolver esse que talvez seja um dos grandes pontos negativos dessa primeira geração do Apple Vision Pro.

@MacMagazine

出張先でApple Vision Proを使用して作業です。ANNAPROで重心をおでこにかけつつ、バッテリーをカウンターウェイトにすることで顔への負担が90%減くらいするのでマストアイテム化しそう。

@key11th

I even tried it without the seal feels more like the magic leap. If your wearing it for more then 30-40mins this is def worth ponying up for!

@MrPatrick2022

La correa ANNAPRO A1 transforma el uso del Apple Vision Pro, reduciendo la presión en la cabeza y mejorando la comodidad. ¡Perfecta para largas jornadas de trabajo u ocio!

@applesfera

This is definitely a good quality and durable headstrap and I would definitely recommend it. I use my VP to watch movies and this is the first time ever I am able to watch 3 hour movies without any interruption.

@FirefighterFun1948

One of my favorite use cases for the Vision Pro is conference calls on the go! Work call in the airport lounge before the flight. Also loving the ANNAPRO comfort strap, makes it much more comfortable for the long calls.

@tipatat

I just got the ANNAPRO comfort head strap. This is a game changer. Removing the lightseal, Vision Pro feels so light.

@ClimbInsideGame

I bought this head strap and IT WORKS! It's still heavy, but it takes all the pressure off my temples and cheekbones which was causing pain.

Amazing difference in the comfort of AVP

I have had the opportunity to use the device for the past week and I love it. I love the attention to detail to make it look like it is part of the Vision Pro and not an add-on. Installation was very intuitive and did not require directions. I loved that Annapro added three different pads for perfect sizing.

High marks for comfort. I have prominent cheekbones and using AVP with the thickest cushion pushes on my face uncomfortably--even with downward adjustments of the solo knit band (the alternative, over-head band that the AVP comes with is flimsy and does not secure the heavy device to my head very well). I typically wear the device to watch shows and movies at night in bed, so gravity doesn’t help the situation. However, with the Annapro device, I have been able to wear the AVP for the first time with no discomfort. Well done!

This is more of an unexpected feature, but the device also gives the AVP a very sturdy “handle”. I didn't realize this was a "feature" that I wanted and I'm very pleased with this capability. It makes it so much easier to transfer the AVP out of the case and place on my head… as opposed to delicately clutching the nose bridge and top of the mask (as Apple instructs), which inevitably leads to fingerprints on the glass, or the light shield popping off. Yet another bonus.

I am very glad Annapro made this device. It addresses a major comfort gap for initial adopters of the AVP, which Annapro has demonstrated can be resolved with a simple, elegant solution.

Wow!

I received my head scrap today 5/18 (ordered 5/3). The earlier units are shipping from China, so they’ll take a little longer to arrive. Don’t worry, though, they are being shipped. Anyway, the unit is fantastic and does seem to really help displace some of the weight off your face. For me, my cheeks hurt with the solo strap and I looked like I had been wearing a swim mask after watching a movie. I haven’t worn it long enough yet to really appreciate the difference, but I can feel it immediately. A large part of the weight is transferred to the forehead (in a different and more comfortable manner than the double strap). It looks great and holds in place very well. It looks like something Apple might have included in the box with the AVP. The black pads would benefit a bit from a material more like the light shield / AirPod Max uses, but I’m sure that would also drive up the price. I’m using the 10mm pad. The strap slides in place in seconds. This is definitely a keeper and I’m glad I got it. I recommend it. BTW, I also bought a similar 3D-printed unit off Etsy and it is also good, though not as professional. That unit tends to come apart and slide around a bit. This is definitely a nice design. For the price, it’s a great value and worth trying. I really like my AVP, though it’s uncomfortable to wear. This really does seem to help.

Like a glove

I have been using it for about an hour, and I love it! The secondary supplied 10mm pad (which feels thinner when compressed) fits my head and works seamlessly with my light seal (33W). Now the Vision Pro fits like a glove on my head with weight distributed more evenly (not just on my cheekbones like before). I love how this strap also doubles as a grip/handle for picking up the avp from a table or setting it down somewhere; it makes the unit as a whole feel much more sturdy, and I find it easier to handle than before because I can grab it safely by this strap- awesome! At $35, this is truly a great value considering how expensive all the OEM stuff is. Definitely recommending this to all my friends that have a Vision Pro :)

The best on the market, but it's highly individualized...

• Product Satisfaction: The user is highly satisfied with the AnnaPro A1 head strap, finding it comfortable and effective.
• Usage Increase: The user’s time spent in the VisionVerse increased significantly since using the AnnaPro A1.
• Request for Improvement: The user requests AnnaPro to offer the new foam pads from the A2 model as a replacement for the A1’s faux leather pads.

I've used the A1 head strap since its release. Honestly, there is nothing I've tried like it. I also test every new product (besides the new ResMed) to see if it offers any more improvements. So far, nothing has come close!

Since getting the AnnaPro A1, my time in the VisionVerse has gone up 10 times. Comfort is so ridiculously low on my complaints with AnnaPro. I've gone through 3 full battery charge and discharge cycles perfectly comfortably.

That time my husband actually woke up the next morning (binge-watching Foundation to an unhealthy amount of time lol). He found that I was still in the VisionVerse and said, "OMG, you're still wearing that darn thing?"

Which prompted him to give Guest Mode another try. Before the A1 graced us, he tried the VisionPro and had major discomfort. Since willing to try it with the A1, I find myself stuck in reality more while he enjoys the Vision Pro lol.

I've tried the A2, and for me, personally, it's nowhere near as comfortable. I spent weeks playing with pad thickness and light seal cushion thickness. The A2 just doesn't work for the shape of my head. But all I really want are the new foam pads. That's my one complaint about the A1 - the faux leather pads always look oily and require cleaning after every use.

If there was one thing, just one thing I would plead for, it's the new face/head pad material in the shape and design of the A1. I would gladly buy a whole new A1 if they weren't sold separately.

PLEASE! AnnaPro, version 2 pad material designed to the shape of version one. We, the people who pray to the AnnaPro gods, need this blessing.

Pressure spreading

This head strap is a relief for the pressure on your chest bones that you have with the normal head strap. I also like to were the Vision Pro some times without the light shield. And it works great with the ANNAPRO. The pressure isn’t gone completely with the ANNAPRO, it’s just spread on your forehead (mainly), cheek bones and the back of your head. So you can were the device for a little longer.

Comfort

The way Apple should have designed it with the cushion over the weight!!!

I have found this to be excellent at reducing the pressure on my cheeks. Although the weight is transferred to the top-front of my head, it is more comfortable this way

Annapro is a must have!!!!

I can’t speak highly enough of the Annapro strap - It’s completely changed my experience with the Vision Pro and is an absolute must have with this device.
