SONY PS5 Prototype Auctions Start at $5,500
A SONY PlayStation 5 prototype recently went up for auction on Yahoo Auctions in Japan, and the lot page detailed the V-shaped design of the console, which is a pretty remarkable thing.
It is understood that the PS5 prototype starting price of 800,000 yen (about $5550). The PlayStation 5 prototype features status 1/ Status 2, power on/standby, reset, eject, system start, network start indicators, as well as six USB ports and an LED display.
On the back, the prototype offers an HDMI port, two Ethernet ports, and an additional USB port.
Although the console is most likely not really usable because it is inactive, it is still a significant collectible, so it is understandable that the auction started so high.
